Op Art Painting
Op art was a development of painting in the 1960s that used line, pattern 
and colour to create optical illusions.

Formative: Students select their own geometric patterns to create and optical illusion in black and white.




 Exhibition of student work

Summative: Students select their own geometric pattern to create an optical illusion. They use complimentary colours including at least one of a tint, tone or shade to colour their work.

Aesthetics, Identities and relationships drive innovation in Visual Culture.

Students create their own full color A3 abstract tesselation based on Islamic Art patterns.
